The "Before" Trilogy

RO:
Aici vine partea frumoasa: continuarea povestii , filmul “Before Sunset”, ii gaseste pe cei doi in Franta, dupa noua ani.
EN:
I love watching movies, but there are only few that I strongly recommend watching. I recently discovered a truly special three-stage love story. Both subtle and catchy, that keeps you glued to the screen, without utilizing the classical clichés: boy meets girl, they fall in love, they argue or something unexpected intervenes (an ex, for example), then they get back together and live happily ever after.  No, the first movie, “Before Sunrise” is a very genuine, credible story, inspired by an actual experience of the Director: a young American (Jesse, played by Ethan Hawke) and a  young woman (Celine, Played by Julie Delpy) meet on a train in Europe and wind up spending one evening together in Vienna. They part the next morning, promising each other that they would meet in six months in the same place, without sharing addresses, phone numbers or even last names.  In “Before Sunset”, Jesse and Celine encounter each other again, nine years later, on the French leg of Jesse's book tour. They have an hour and a half before his flight back to the US, during which they discover that none of them is actually happy. I will let you discover the ending by yourself. The last part, “Before Midnight”, finds them on vacation in Greece, after another nine years, with two twin daughters, dealing with married life. I should also tell you that Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy worked with Director Richard Linklater on writing the screenplays for parts two and three, which also received Oscar nominations. I hope I convinced you to watch the trilogy!
